I’ll be speaking in Chicago next month at the local CMT Association chapter on a fun topic I think many technician practitioners can relate to.
I’m thankful to have been asked back after speaking last year when I spoke on my Charles Dow Award winning paper Forecasting a Volatility Tsunami. This year I’ll be diving into some of my favorite and commonly shared chart crimes.
While I love seeing the increase in usage of technical analysis in financial news stories and on social media, many times charts are created and shared with a lack of properly understanding of the underlying concepts, patterns, or indicators. In my presentation I’ll share some of the common mistakes I see made with charting, how we can better deploy the tools of technical analysis and finish with my personal outlook on the market.
This event is free for members and non-member of the CMT Association.
Date: July 18th, 2019
