Andrew Thrasher, CMT is a Portfolio Manager with the Financial Enhancement Group, a central Indiana-based asset management firm. Andrew serves as a member of the investment allocation team, which manages two long/short strategies and five long-only strategies. Mr. Thrasher is also the founder of Thrasher Analytics, a research and analysis service with a focus on risk management, economic and technical analysis as well as volatility timing. He specializes in technical analysis, with a focus on market timing, sector rotation strategies, stock selection, and risk management.
He currently holds the Chartered Market Technician® designation and a member of the CMT Association, he also holds a Series 65 securities license and was the 2017 Charles H. Dow Award winner for his research on equity market volatility as well as the 2023 Dow Award winner for his research on the duration of market declines.
Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University and resides in the Indianapolis-area along with his wife, Abby, and their dog, Brooke.
