Last week I went to New York for the CMT Symposium, the annual technical analysis conference put on by the CMT Association. It was great hearing some excellent speakers, connecting with many of you and other friends from the industry while also meeting several new people as well.
Before attending the first night of the symposium I headed to the HQ of Ritholtz Wealth Management to spend some time with Josh Brown and Barry Rithotlz talking about how I use technical analysis within my firm’s investment models as well as briefly discussing my 2017 Charles Dow award winning paper, Forecasting a Volatility Tsunami.
